As soon as I arrived in England, I noticed a huge difference in the mentalities… and my comeback in France reinforced my opinion. British people are really better at showing enthusiasm, at wondering. Even if it may seem a bit caricatural sometimes, I still find much more pleasant to be surrounded by Carebears rather than by Grumpies.
Because I have to admit that French people are really good at complaining. I thought it was a stereotype but I saw that people at the other side of the Channel always see the bright side of things. Don’t get angry. Don’t moan. On one hand, it was really charming. On the other hand, I wouldn’t be able to imitate the English reserve because I NEED to explode some times, like a kind of catharsis.
